ECOPOL A3+ MILSPEC is a high-performance, fluorine-free foam concentrate designed to effectively combat aircraft fires and related risks, including engines, landing gear, cabins, fuselage, helicopters, fuel spills, fuel lines, aircraft hangars, terminals, and hydrocarbon storage tanks. The product delivers high performance on hydrocarbon fires such as diesel, kerosene, JET A, JET A1, and gasoline – the most common fire hazards at military installations.
The foam forms a blanket that rapidly spreads over the fuel surface, cutting off oxygen supply, suppressing fuel vapors, and preventing re-ignition. It also adheres to vertical surfaces such as aircraft bodies and fuselage, providing thermal insulation and allowing safe passenger evacuation. The foam blanket has a long drainage time, extending protection and maintaining fire control.
Advanced tests at nominal, half, and double strength have demonstrated that ECOPOL A3+ MILSPEC is effective in all situations. Its Newtonian low-viscosity formulation ensures compatibility with all types of foam proportioning equipment, including ARFF fire trucks, foam monitors, nozzles, and automated systems. No modifications are required when switching from AFFF. The foam is also resistant to hydrocarbon contamination and compatible with dry chemical agents.

It contains no fluorinated compounds such as PFOS, PFAS, or 6:2 FTS, and is fully free of silicones and siloxanes.
