Product Overview

BIO T is a high-performance synthetic and fluorine-free foam concentrate (F3) designed for realistic and safe fire training on Class A and Class B fires, as well as for calibration and testing of foam systems. The product is engineered to provide firefighters and emergency response teams with the ability to train effectively, repeat exercises, and improve foam application techniques in a controlled environment.

Foaming and Training Performance

BIO T replicates operational firefighting foam concentrates by simulating appearance, proportioning, and foaming characteristics. The foam generates a light, covering layer that allows fuel re-ignition, enabling multiple repetitions within the same training session. To facilitate effective training, the extinguishing properties and foam stability have been deliberately reduced, allowing the foam blanket to collapse more quickly and enabling rapid restart for the next exercise.

BIO T is ideal for:

The product can be used on Class B hydrocarbon fires such as fuel, diesel, gasoline, and kerosene, as well as on Class A fires. It is intended for regular foam training in environments such as the offshore industry, airports, and training platforms, but it is not intended for actual firefighting operations.

Equipment Compatibility

BIO T is compatible with all foam proportioning and discharge equipment and can be used with both air-aspirating and non-air-aspirating foam discharge devices.

Concentrations and Usage

BIO T can be used at 3 % or 6 % concentrations and is suitable for low, medium, and high expansion foam applications. It works with both fresh and salt water. Depending on the capacity of your wastewater treatment station and your waste contract, BIO T training foam concentrates can be disposed of without the need for incineration.

Environmental Safety

BIO T is biodegradable and completely free of fluorine compounds, fluorosurfactants, and PBT substances (Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxic). This makes the product safe for both personnel and the environment, meeting modern sustainability requirements for training exercises.
