ECOPOL A+, Newtonian fluorine-free foam concentrate (F3) designed for aircraft fires

ECOPOL A+, Newtonian fluorine-free foam concentrate (F3) designed for aircraft fires

BIO FOAM foam concentrate has been developed to generate high-performance fluorine-free high-expansion foam (F3) and to extinguish Class B hydrocarbon fires.

Depending on the foam discharge equipment, BIO FOAM multi-expansion foam concentrate can also produce low- and medium-expansion foam.

BIO FOAM is a Newtonian synthetic foam based on a combination of surfactants selected for their high foaming properties and resistance to dehydration.

BIO FOAM high-expansion foam is recommended for flooding large volumes, such as aircraft hangars, warehouses, ship holds, car parks, and more.

BIO FOAM – Fluorine-Free Multi-Expansion Foam for Class B Hydrocarbon Fires

BIO FOAM is a fluorine-free synthetic foam concentrate developed to generate high-performance high-expansion foam (F3) and to effectively extinguish Class B hydrocarbon fires. Depending on the foam discharge equipment, BIO FOAM can also produce low- and medium-expansion foam, making it versatile for different firefighting situations.

The foam is based on a Newtonian synthetic formulation with carefully selected surfactants that provide high foaming properties and resistance to dehydration.

BIO FOAM forms a long-lasting foam blanket that floods the affected area, limits oxygen supply, and provides a cooling effect. It is particularly effective in engine rooms, underground car parks, buildings, and process facilities, where large volumes need to be covered. The foam offers excellent burnback resistance and efficiently extinguishes Class B fires.

The products are fully biodegradable, environmentally friendly, and contain no fluorinated derivatives. They break down quickly without leaving PBT residues (persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic substances). Depending on the capacity of your sewage treatment system, BIO FOAM agents can be flushed away without the need for incineration, and it is recommended to use an anti-foaming agent before discharge into the sewage system.

BIO FOAM can be used on Class B fires involving fuels such as diesel, gasoline, kerosene, and biofuels, and it is also recommended for training purposes.
